These Terms govern the use of the FaceScore application (the “Service”) provided by the FaceScore Management Office (the “Office”) between users of the Service (“Users”) and the Office.
Article 1. Definitions
- “Content” means text, audio, music, images, video, software, programs, code, and other information.
- “Service Content” means content accessible through the Service.
- “Submitted Content” means content posted, transmitted, or uploaded by a User.
- “Additional Terms” means guidelines, policies, and other terms separately established for the Service.
Article 2. Agreement to the Terms
- Users must use the Service in accordance with these Terms and may not use it without agreeing to them.
- Minors must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian.
- When Additional Terms apply, Users must also comply with them.
- Use of the Service constitutes valid and irrevocable agreement to these Terms.
Article 3. Changes to the Terms
The Office may change these Terms when necessary. Revised terms and their effective date will be announced in the Service or by another appropriate method. Continued use after a revision constitutes agreement to the revised Terms.
Article 4. Fees
- The Service is generally available free of charge.
- Some functions and ad-free plans are paid. Prices and payment methods are shown by the App Store or Google Play.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled within the period specified by the applicable store. Users must cancel through their Apple ID or Google Play settings.
- Except where required by law, purchases are not eligible for cancellation, refunds, or prorated refunds.
Article 5. Privacy
- The Office respects User privacy.
- Privacy and personal information are handled according to the separately published Privacy Policy.
- Users must review and agree to the Privacy Policy before using the Service.
Article 6. Provision of the Service
- The Office may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service.
- Users are responsible for obtaining devices, network access, and other equipment needed to use the Service.
Article 7. Advertising
The Office may display advertisements from the Office or third parties within the Service.
Article 8. Partner services
The Service may include services or content provided by partner businesses. Their own terms and conditions apply to those offerings.
Article 9. Intellectual property
- Copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in the Service and Service Content belong to the Office or their lawful owners.
- Users may not reproduce, republish, alter, distribute, publicly transmit, or otherwise use Service Content beyond what is necessary to use the Service.
- Users retain rights in Submitted Content but grant the Office a royalty-free right to use it as needed to provide, operate, improve, and promote the Service, and agree not to exercise moral rights in relation to such use.
Article 10. Prohibited conduct
- Violating laws, court orders, or binding administrative measures
- Conduct contrary to public order or morality
- Infringing intellectual property, privacy, portrait, or other rights
- Impersonation or intentional distribution of false information
- Supporting antisocial forces
- Unauthorized commercial use of information obtained through the Service
- Exchanging the right to use the Service for economic benefit
- Unauthorized sales, advertising, solicitation, or other commercial activity
- Improper collection or disclosure of another User’s information
- Excessive load on or interference with servers or networks
- Intentional exploitation of defects
- Reverse engineering or other analysis of the Service
- Unauthorized access or attempted unauthorized access
- Any other conduct the Office considers inappropriate
Article 11. User responsibility
- Users use the Service at their own responsibility.
- A User who causes damage by violating these Terms is responsible for that damage.
- Disputes between a User and a third party must be resolved by the User at the User’s expense.
Article 12. Disclaimer
- The Office does not guarantee availability on every device, accuracy, completeness, usefulness, fitness for a particular purpose, continuity, or freedom from defects.
- Analysis results are reference information and do not guarantee a medical, professional, or objective evaluation. Users must rely on their own judgment.
- Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the Office is not liable for damage arising from use of the Service. Where applicable law does not permit an exclusion, liability will follow that law.

Article 14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court or Tokyo Summary Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes arising from or related to the Service or these Terms.
